Who we are
We are a group of weirdos who believe financial freedom should be for everyone.

What is Lettuce?
Lettuce puts all your money stuff in one place.
Lettuce is building an open banking hub that brings the world of investments together. It’s an objective, independent hub for your money.
With our open beta app, you can see all your assets in one place. We offer real time market data from Alabama to Zanzibar, on the Blockchain or in your sock-draw, including ETFs, Cryptocurrencies, and just about anything else. Lettuce will provide you with up-to-date information about your assets, no matter what or where they are and keep track of their value in any currency you like.
Longer term, we're building tools to let you automatically rebalance, buy and sell your investments according to the rules that you set on your prefered platform, or discover investment strategies through the community.
Lettuce launched in August 2019. Here's a timeline of our major milestones.
Why are we doing this?
We want to make investing more open and easier to understand for everybody. We’re insufferable optimists, and we believe that open banking, the blockchain and the democratization of DIY investing really will make it possible for more people to work towards financial freedom, and live the lives THEY want to live.
Financial freedom means something different for everybody: for some people, it means saving enough that they don’t have to work for money; for other people, it means being debt free, or having enough to send your kids to a private school, or being able to travel the world, or having an emergency fund. We want to make it easier for people to live their best lives.
Who is it for?
People who like control and want to do it all themselves.
Our users value freedom and likely have multiple income streams and types of assets.
Lettuce is for people who are keeping their eyes on the big picture and know that being mindful in the present is better than pretending the past matters, or trying to predict the future. Our app is not really for active trading, professional asset management, or detailed budgeting.
Many of our customers are global citizens who live and work across multiple countries. We try to support them by removing as many artificial national borders and barriers to their financial lives as we can. We think that everyone deserves access to the best financial products in the world, whether they happen to live in Palo Alto or Timbuktu.
